Getting help
The fastest route is the contact form: it reaches the team directly through our private Telegram support channel, and we read every message. Include your macOS version and, for device issues, the monitor's model number. The in-app user manual (Settings, then Manual) covers every screen in detail.
Bluetooth blood pressure monitors: the supported class
Heartwood supports monitors that implement the Bluetooth SIG Blood Pressure Profile, the standard “connect and sync” specification used by many home upper-arm and wrist cuffs. If your monitor's manual mentions syncing readings over Bluetooth to generic health apps, it is likely in this class.
For these monitors, Heartwood records what the device reports:
- Systolic and diastolic pressure, and pulse when provided.
- The measurement timestamp when plausible. If a device clock is clearly wrong, the reading is imported at receipt time with an advisory note.
- Measurement-status details, such as cuff-fit and irregular-pulse flags, when the device supplies them.
Stored-record download protocols, enhanced measurement characteristics, and background syncing while the app is closed are not supported.
Individually validated models
Beyond the standard profile, a small set of devices using manufacturer-specific protocols has been validated on real hardware. Entries are added only after end-to-end testing.
| Device | What syncs | Verified |
|---|---|---|
| Omron BP7000 (upper-arm cuff) | Blood pressure, pulse, and measurement-status flags | June 2026 |
| eufy Smart Scale P3 | Weigh-ins import as weight entries | June 2026 |
More validated models will be listed here as testing completes. Compatibility varies by model, region, and firmware; check the in-app Devices screen for live pairing status. Manual entry is always available and works with any device. Heartwood records what a monitor reports and takes no measurements itself.
